ASHE is seeking
8-12 facility managers and leaders to serve on the
Technician Training Prioritization Task Force. Over a
six-month term
beginning in
October 2026, volunteers will help identify training gaps, validate workforce needs, and prioritize the next generation of ASHE technician training content aligned with the Health Care Facilities Technician (HFT) competency framework. This group will play a key role in ensuring future training resources address compliance requirements, strengthen technician competencies, support onboarding, and improve operational performance across healthcare facilities.
Ideal candidates will have experience managing technicians (hiring and training) and represent a variety of care settings, geographic regions, and career stages. If you're passionate about workforce development and want to influence the educational resources that prepare the next generation of healthcare facility technicians, we encourage you to apply.
