
ASHE is looking for people to review the abstract submissions we receive for the 2026 PDC Summit.
Criteria: Must be an ASHE member to participate.
Abstracts will be submitted until May 31, 2025, under various learning tracks, which we use to break the work out into groups. Reviewers will be assigned a learning track, each led by a chair and co-chair, and each group will review 20-80 abstracts. Abstract reviewers receive a discounted registration for their participation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and score assigned abstracts in the platform (approximately 2-4 hours of your time)
- Evaluate content (quality vs. quantity).
- Diverse voices, multidisciplinary, owner's perspective, etc.
- Look for clear learning objectives and takeaways
- Review and provide constructive feedback on abstract strengths and weaknesses, and areas for improvement/modification (if needed)
- Assess speaker qualifications and expertise
- Discuss the selected track, knowledge level, session format, audience, and its fitting
- Identify gaps in content or emerging topics that should be addressed
- Participate and collaborate in virtual discussion meeting with track chairs
- Contribute to the final selection of top submissions

Participation Timeline:
- May 1- 31, 2025: Abstract submission timeline. Due May 31, 2025, by 11:59 p.m. CT
- June 4 – 18, 2025: Abstract review time by task force. Due June 18, 2025, by 11:59 p.m. CT
- Review & score submitted abstracts for the assigned track.
- Senada will send you an email on how to access the abstracts.
- June 20, 2025: ASHE to send out Top 10 and abstract book by EOB
- June 21 – July 11, 2025: Chair/co-chair to schedule and meet with reviewers (virtually).
- July 14, 2025: The Track Chairs and co-chairs work with the reviewers to finalize the top 8 submissions and send them to Senada.
