Volunteer Opportunity: Sustainability Financing Task Force 💡📊
ASHE is forming a new Sustainability Financing Task Force and is seeking Professional Active and Associate Members who want to help bridge the gap between sustainability goals and financial reality in health care facilities.
This expert group will focus on developing practical tools and resources that help facility managers, energy, and sustainability professionals better understand—and use—the financial levers that support sustainability and efficiency projects. From funding strategies to financial terminology, the task force will help make complex concepts more accessible and actionable for ASHE members.
What you’ll work on:

Expanding the ASHE Sustainability Roadmap glossary with key financial terms and definitions
-
Reviewing insights from the 2024 financial environmental scan
-
Helping translate financial concepts into tools members can actually use
Why get involved?

-
Help equip ASHE members with clearer pathways to fund and justify projects
-
Build leadership experience and visibility within ASHE
If you’re passionate about sustainability and understand how financing plays a role in making progress possible, this is a great opportunity to contribute.
