Description:
The Fellow/Senior ASHE Member (FASHE/SASHE) Task Force confirms and approves applications for FASHE and SASHE status and complete other related tasks as needed. Members are expected to:
Regular duties:
Read and understand all
FASHE application criteria
and
SASHE application criteria
and thoroughly.
Access all FASHE/SASHE applications and supporting documentation via SharePoint (Microsoft account required).
Review all FASHE/SASHE applications and supporting documentation thoroughly prior to virtual meetings.
Meet virtually via MS Teams
at least once a year
(typically in the spring) to discuss and come to consensus on. what successfully meeting all criteria looks like and then vote on applicants.
New tasks for 2022:
Meet as needed to accomplish new tasks.
Collaborate with ASHE staff on suggested applicant prep calendar.
Develop a new FASHE/SASHE alumni network to help applicants prepare.
Requirements:
Must be an ASHE member in good standing
Must have FASHE or SASHE status
Must not be currently serving on another ASHE committee or task force
Must not be a current applicant for FASHE or SASHE
Must complete all necessary forms (e.g. conflict of interest, non-disclosure, etc.)
Length of term:
Members are expected to serve on the task force for a minimum of three years.
Members can also serve as task force chair or vice chair - each a one year term.
The maximum term for a member to serve on the task force would be five years (three years as a task force member, plus one year as vice chair followed by one year as chair).
