Call for Volunteers: ASHE Awards and Recognition Task Force

ASHE is seeking dedicated members to serve on the Awards and Recognition Task Force — and we need your leadership and expertise.

This Task Force plays a critical role in identifying and honoring outstanding individuals and teams across the health care facility management profession. If you are passionate about elevating excellence and ensuring a fair, transparent recognition process, we encourage you to volunteer.

Awards Reviewed by the Task Force:

• Crystal Eagle

• Emerging Regional Leader

• Excellence in Health Care Facility Management

• Ilse B. Almanza Scholarship

What You’ll Do:

• Review award applications and supporting materials in the Open Water platform

• Meet virtually (via MS Teams) weekly during April to discuss and vote

• Collaborate with ASHE staff on scoring criteria and evaluation processes

• Help promote broad participation in the awards program

Member Requirements:

• Current ASHE member in good standing

• Not an active applicant for any of the listed awards

• Willing to complete conflict of interest and nondisclosure forms

• Commit to a minimum three-year term
